A Hindu radical group on Tuesday beat two Muslim women at Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur railway station for allegedly carrying beef.

The video of the incident was captured by one of the many spectators who did nothing to stop the attack.

The video shows women being kicked, slapped and abused by a mob.

They were cornered by a crowd that is heard screaming “Gau Mata Ki Jai (Hail holy cow)” and were thrashed for nearly half an hour before the police led them away.

Later, Rajya Sabha witnessed an uproar over the issue, Mayawati raised the issue.

She questioned Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, if he accepts this kind of treatment meted out to Muslim women.
