Kashmiri apples with hateful anti-India messages have surfaced in a fruit market in Sirsa, Haryana.

A resident, Prayag, in the state had purchased apples from the fruit market. When he was about to eat one, he noticed some anti-India messages scribbled onto the apples.

In black ink, the messages read, ‘We want freedom, We are freedom fighters from Kashmir Pulwama’, ‘India go back, Indian dogs go back, Indian pigs go back’.

Horrified, Prayag immediately informed the police and the SHO of Sirsa. Officials then arrived at the fruit market from where the apples had been purchased.

Investigations have now been launched by the Sirsa SHO Gurdial Singh and the police has started backtracking the source. It was unveiled that the fruit vendor had bought the apples from one, Raju Arora. Further investigation has revealed that Raju deals with seven traders in the valley from whence, these apples have arrived in Sirsa.

The police is not intending on taking the matter lightly and will take strict action against the culprits, even if the slogans are found to be just a prank.
