Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s elder son Rakesh on Saturday died in Brussels due to multiple organ failure.

Two days back, on Thursday CM flew to Brussels to see his son, who was admitted to a university hospital in Belguim after falling ill while on a tour to Europe.

According to family sources, Rakesh was rushed to the hospital after he complained of severe pain in the pancreas.

Rakesh was holidaying in Europe along with his friends since a week.

Siddaramaiah’s wife, younger son Yathindra and family doctor Ravi Kumar left for Belgium two days ago.
