Making another benchmark, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Lucknow, known to be the best business schools in the country, accomplished 100% summer placements in four days for its 32nd batch, which had 458 students.
This year 151 domestic and international recruiters took part in the recruitment drive. Sales & marketing, consulting, finance and business development were the four major segments based on which the roles were offered at the recruitment drive.
The rest of the offers came from domains such as operations/supply chain, general management, systems/IT, market research, analytics and HR.
Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Amazon, AT Kearney, BCG, Deutsche Bank, Edelweiss, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, RPG, TAS and Uber, were some of the top recruiters across different sectors.
ABinBev, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Duff and Phelphs, Master Card Advisors and Morgan Stanley among others were among the first time recruiters for IIM Lucknow.
ABinBev, Deutsche Bank and Hindustan Unilever, offered International profiles to some of the students.
A total of 140 offers were offered jobs in the , consumer goods, telecom and digital media sector with some of the top firms being ABinBev, Airtel, Asian Paints, Colgate Palmolive, Dabur, Hindustan Unilever, HT Media, ITC, L’Oréal, Mondelez, Marico, Nestle, P&G, Pepsi, Samsung & Star TV.
