Almost after three months of his kidnapping, the marine engineer working with a Singapore-based shipping company has been rescued by pirates in Nigeria.
“I am extremely happy to inform that Shri Santosh Bhardwaj has been rescued from pirates in Nigeria,” External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said in a tweet.

Bhardwaj was kidnapped near Nigeria on March 26. He was working with Transocean Limited and was kidnapped along with four colleagues from different countries.
