malaMosquito-borne diseases mess is increasing day by day in Delhi with rising number of dengue, chikungunya and malaria deaths.

The Delhi High Court and the National Green Tribunal have cracked a whip on concerned authorities. Acting on a petition in the matter, Delhi HC has asked both the institutions to take urgent steps to control the spread of diseases.

After chikungunya and dengue, now malaria has begun to haunt the Delhiites as the cases of malaria are also steadily on the rise. So far the disease has claimed 6 lives, while agencies have confirmed 525 cases so far. Apart from this, 2,625 cases of chikungunya and 1,378 of dengue have been reported this season. Now the fogging is being done on a war footing.
