A corridor called “Green Corridor” is created in Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal for rapid movement of vehicles carrying liver for organ transplant at the hospitals.

The corridor will enable the vehicle to cover distance of 12km in just 13 minutes to rush a liver for organ transplant at hospital from the airport.

“It’s an important moment. In a first, the green corridor was created in Bhopal. It took 13 minutes to bring the organ,” senior police officer Sameer Yadav told ANI.

A green corridor is a special route created for transportation of organs meant for transplant, sans red lights or with the traffic signals being operated on manual mode.
