While Tamil Nadu topped the chart with 4.68 million tourists visiting it in 2015, Goa saw a drastic dip in numbers with just 0.54 million tourists hitting its beaches in the past year.

Contrary to common notions, Bihar too managed to climb up the ladder with 0.92 million tourists visiting its various destination in 2015.

3. Uttar Pradesh (3.1 millions in 2015)

4. Delhi (2.38 millions in 2015)

5. West Bengal (1.49 millions in 2015)

8. Bihar (0.92 millions in 2015)

9. Karnataka (0.64 millions in 2015)

10. Goa (0.54 millions in 2015)
