Winter Session of Parliament enters Day 11 with a new topic of the Nagrota attack on the horizon after consistent protests over demonetisation, yet the protests have not ended. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi walked out of Parliament claiming to honour the Nagrota martyrs.

“Parliament rule is that when anyone dies, we honour them. Today is the first time our soldiers that were killed have not been honoured, that’s why our Party and Opposition walked out,” said Rahul Gandhi.

Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu responded to Rahul Gandhi’s comment “Speaker informed that combing operation is underway in Nagrota, once operation is over tribute will be paid in the House to the soldiers.”
