On the direction of the ministry of home affairs, Noida Police on Sunday launched the second part of ‘Opration Muskaan’ to locate 70 missing children from the city since 2007.
Earlier, the Noida police had launched Operation Muskaan I, from June 30 last year and traced 411 missing children.
According to TOI, from July 31st onwards, under ‘Operation Muskaan 2′ as many as 66 policemen would visit 22 districts of UP and neighbouring states to track the kids.
These teams will visit the shelter homes, railway stations, police stations, in districts like Kanpur, Meerut, Lucknow, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Haridwar and also Delhi.
They will also use social media as an important tool to reunite the children with their families, claims report.
