Navjot Kaur Sidhu, BJP Legislator and chief parliamentary secretary, on Tuesday has confirmed that Navjot Singh Sidhu has resigned from BJP and is joining Aam Aadmi Party.
While the on Monday speculations were rife that Navjot Kaur Sidhu will also resign from BJP, however she on Tuesday cleared the air saying, “I have not resigned from BJP.”

She also said that there was a clear message that they (Akali Dal&BJP) want to fight together, its obvious there is no door for Navjot Singh.
“He will decide on this, I can’t take a decision on his behalf, let it come from his mouth,” said Navjot Kaur Sidhu on if Navjot Singh will join AAP.
On asking about Navjot Singh Sidhu’s aim, she said that his main aim is to work for Punjab.
Navjot Singh Sidhu on Monday resigned from Rajya Sabha just three months after his nomination by the Modi government with the Aam Aadmi Party giving indications that he may be made the party’s face in the assembly elections next year.
The resignation of 52-year-old Sidhu, who was nominated on April 22, has been accepted by Chairman Hamid Ansari with immediate effect, the House was informed.
While he made a brief statement indicating all was not well with him in the BJP, there is talk of Sidhu joining the AAP ahead of the elections.
