Following after her husband, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Navjot Kaur Sidhu too resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday.
Her resignation was accepted by BJP President in Punjab, Vijay Sampla. She had submitted a one-line resignation at the headquarters for the state unit of the party in Chandigarh.

On September 14, Navjot Singh Sidhu had formally resigned from BJP, days after he announced floating of a new “non-political” platform in poll-bound Punjab.
Sidhu, who quit his Rajya Sabha membership on July 18, sent his resignation from BJP to party chief Amit Shah.
