A Delhi court on Saturday summoned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly using the derogatory word ‘thulla’ for referring to the policemen.
The court has asked Kejriwal to appear before it on July 14.
The Delhi CM had sparked a major controversy last year after he allegedly used the word ‘thulla’ to refer to the Delhi policemen.
Anguished by remark for using a word, which is commonly used a slang while refering to the cops, several policemen has registered complaints against him.
A criminal defamation case was filed against him in October last year.
However, Kejriwal had later apologised for his comments while clarifying that the comment was was not meant for the ‘honest’ policemen.
