Mayawati Seeks Centre's Intervention To Tackle Crime In Uttar Pradesh
Mayawati said that the situation in UP is so bad that the intervention of Centre & President is necessary to maintain law and order in the state.

Expressing her concern over increasing crime rate in Uttar Pradesh, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati On Tuesday launched the direct attack on Samajwadi Party (SP) chief and state chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, asking him to remove tainted ministers from his Cabinet.

“If SP is serious about curbing crimes & maintaining law & order in state, first of all they should remove tainted ministers from their cabinet,” Mayawati said while addressing the media persons in Lucknow.

She even said that the situation in UP is so bad that the intervention of Centre & President is necessary to maintain law and order in the state.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday expanded his cabinet for the seventh time, inducting three new faces and reinstating sacked minister Balram Yadav, while showing the door to cabinet minister Manoj Kumar Pandey.
