Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said that justice will be done in the Mandsaur Incident, where A Hindu radical group beat two Muslim women at Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur railway station for allegedly carrying beef.
While speaking at Lok Sabha, Rajnath Singh said “MP Govt took instant action in the case, and I assure you that culprits will be punished.”
The Madhya Pradesh Police on Thursday arrested four people in connection to the thrashing of two women over beef rumours.
The video of the incident was captured by one of the many spectators who did nothing to stop the attack.
The video shows women being kicked, slapped and abused by a mob.
They were cornered by a crowd that is heard screaming “Gau Mata Ki Jai (Hail holy cow)” and were thrashed for nearly half an hour before the police led them away.
