PM Modi Meets President Mukherjee Over Uri Attack

Modi with mUkherjee A day after terrorists killed 18 Indian soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday called on President Pranab Mukherjee "and held discussions", the Rashtrapati Bhavan tweeted. "PM Modi called on President Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening and held discussions with the President," a brief announcement said. ALSO READ: Home Minister Rajnath Singh Briefs PM Modi On Uri Attack After the recent terror attack in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir, PM Modi also held meetings with Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and the National Security Advisor. ALSO READ: Kiren Rijiju Confirms Evidence Linking Uri Attack To Pakistan The Prime Minister level meeting concluded and a decision was made to handle the Pakistan situation in Kashmir with tough military action. Based on the decision, India will now present all actionable evidence if required at international bodies.
