Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Agra to launch the ambitious Pradhanmantri Grameen Awas Yojna housing scheme and to address a public rally, kick starting BJP party campaign ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2017.

The housing scheme aims at providing houses to the rural poor and people living below the poverty line. The project is expected to be complete by 2022, while allotment letters will be distributed to 50 beneficiaries by PM Modi on Sunday itself.
