Securing a clear majority in Kerala, the CPI (M) will make a final decision on states’ new Chief Minister on Friday.
According to reports, CPI (M) Gen. Secy Sitaram Yechury will visit Kerala tomorrow and meet the state committee on selection of Chief Minister.
The CPI (M) has emerged as the biggest party in the Left Democratic Front with 58 seats out of the 91.
Hours after winning, CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said that result is against the unprecedented corruption and misrule by UDF in last 5 years.
Congratulating the people Kerala for electing their party into power, Yechury said his party will fulfill all the promises made to the people of the state.
He said “We salute the people of Kerala for the faith they have reposed in the LDF, we assure that we will fulfil the promises made. The Verdict is against unprecedented corruption and misrule by UDF in last 5 years.”
