Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was heckled in Rohtak on Tuesday as he visited the violence hit areas to take stock of the situation in the district that has been affected the most in 10 days of agitation by Jat protesters.


According to reports, as soon as Khattar started to address the people in Rohtak, angry locals and shop owners, whose properties were damaged during the protests, raised black flags .

Reports added that despite assurances from Chief Minister, the locals refused to comply and forced him to leave the place.

Haryana has been on standstill from last 10 days as Jat protesters have stalled almost whole state demanding reservation in jobs and education.

Many shops, vehicles, railways stations and even a mall was set on fire, costing an estimated loss of Rs. 34,000 crore.
