The routine Army exercises in West Bengal were given a political flavour as Mamata Banerjee herself stepped in to protest at the Secretariat next to the toll plaza in Kolkata where the Army exercises were carried out. The 'Army Deployment' issue was also discussed at length in Parliament on Friday, its 13th day of the Winter Session.
