The Delhi Police busted a high profile sex racket in Safdarjung area of South Delhi on Thursday. The police said that foreign girls were involved in the racket.

The police have arrested a 63-year-old PN Sanyal, who is said to be the kingpin of the sex racket.

Police inquiry suggested that many politicians and senior army officers were also clients of this sex racket. During the raid, letterheads belonging to several MPs and senior politicians from BJP and SP were recovered which also bore their signatures. One of the letterheads belonged to BJP’s Jagdambika Pal, sources said. The police are currently following up on the lead.

On June 2, the Income-Tax Department had raided the residence and other listed sites of PN Sanyal. During the raid, the team found a foreign-origin girl and several documents that led them to believe that a sex racket was under operation.

The Income Tax officers had informed the Delhi Police of the revelation which further led to the arrest of Sanyal, charging him for human trafficking and operating a sex racket.

The documents recovered in the raid have founded the belief that the sex racket also has connections with various politicians and army officers. It has been discovered that the gang supplied call girls to them.

“Messages have been sent to a senior IAS, and bureaucrats on WhatsApp; by the name of Naresh Agrawal (Rajya Sabha member) from Samajwadi Party,” said investigating officer Ishwar Singh on the huge sex racket bust.

“We got to know about foreign ladies, and a Colonel Ajay Ahlawat. We’re verifying the rest,” he added.

Naresh Agrawal denied being connected to the sex racket. “Don’t do wrong things, someone is using my name in this.”

“I want Delhi police to take a strict action against the culprits, because it’s a very bad thing to use someone else’s name,” he said.

Delhi Police is positive that Sanyal’s call records would help them with further investigation. The police is further investigating this matter.
