In the latest development in the Haryana Rajya Sabha polls controversy, Punjab and Haryana High Court will on August 24 hear senior lawyer R K Anand’s plea seeking cancellation of media baron Subhash Chandra’s Rajya Sabha membership.

The leader in his petition has alleged that someone had changed the original pen provided by the election officials with another one, which resulted in Chandra’s victory.

Earlier in July, RK Anand wrote a letter to Vice President Hamid Ansari, urging him to not let BJP-backed Independent candidate and media baron Subhash Chandra take oath as an MP.
