A fidayeen attack at the rear base of an infantry regiment in Uri on Sunday left at least 17 Indian soldiers dead.
It was in the wee hours of Sunday morning that Heavily armed militants, suspected to be from the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad, targeted the army’s 12th Brigade headquarters.
