Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Leh on Monday morning to review the security situation in Kashmir following the Baramulla attacks where one BSF soldier was killed and another injured.

The Home Minister was accompanied by National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and they will be visiting Kargil to review the security situation.

Singh also offered his condolences to the BSF soldier who lost his life in the attack

Rajnath had had a word with DG BSF regarding the treatment of the injured soldier who is currently admitted in the Army RR facility.

Last night, terrorists had attacked a 46 Rashtriya Rifles camp. The terrorists failed to breach the camp after BSF returned fire but, managed to escape
