J&K: Mobile Internet Services Suspended In Doda, Banihal, Kishtwar Districts

Mobile Internet service were temporarily suspended in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda, Banihal and Kishtwar districts following a shutdown on Friday morning.

Earlier, curfew and protest shutdown continued in Kashmir on Thursday for the 27th consecutive day.

According to reports, over 50 protesters were injured on Wednesday in Adijan area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district when their rally was intercepted by security forces.

Also authorities imposed curfew and restrictions under section 144 CrPc (Criminal Procedure Code) in south Kashmir districts of Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama, Anantnag and parts of Srinagar city on Thursday following the unrest in the valley over killing of the Hizbul leader Buhan Wani.
