The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday broke down soon after hearing her father’s voice in a video clip on Kashmir tourism, in Delhi.
Mehbooba is in Delhi to attend the Bharat International Tourism Bazaar function.
Mehbooba said that she was in two minds to attend the function, as things are not good back home (Jammu and Kahmir).
Later, the situation turned the other way when Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra asked Mehbooba if she considered Burhwan Wani and Afzal Guru
as terrorists or not, inviting protests from her entourage.
Mishra left the venue, saying he does not want to share the dais with her after he was forced to stop his address following strong protests from some in the audience and officials accompanying Mufti.
Earlier, Mishra had said that tourism and terrorism cannot go together.
