Indian Army and border Security Force (BSF) officials on Thursday apprehended two suspects in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the terror activities in the valley.

Both the apprehended suspects have been reported to be residents of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Currently, the two suspects are being interrogated.

In one of the worst terrorist attacks in recent times in Kashmir, militants stormed an army camp in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir where 18 Indian soldiers were martyred.

Shortly after the incident, Indian Army neutralised 10 terrorists on the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri on Tuesday while they were trying to sneak inside, foiling an infiltration bid.
