Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a gathering in Medak, Telangana launched a sharp attack on the ‘cow protectors’ saying that such people need to be ‘exposed, isolated and punished’.

“These fake ‘gau rakshaks’ (cow protectors) need to be exposed, isolated and punished,” he said today.

Urging the state governments to take stern action against the ‘fake gau-rakshaks’, PM Modi said that, “Want to tell State Govts to take stern action against these handful of fake ‘gau rakshaks’ involved in anti-social elements.”

Asking people to remain alert of these people, Modi said, “Want to tell everyone to remain alert of fake ‘gau rakshaks’.”

“The intention of these fake ‘gau rakshaks’ is to simply divide the country, they have nothing to do with ‘gau raksha’,” he addded.
