The shocking suicide of Ram Kishan Garehwal, an ex-serviceman who committed suicide in the captial Delhi while protesting for implementation of OROP (One Rank One Pension) shook the nation with politicians lining up to meet the family of the deceased.
The post-mortem autopsy of Garehwal was completed on Wednesday night at the Lady Hardinge Hospital where he was shifted from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital which had pronounced him dead.

While the autopsy report is yet to be released, the body has been handed over to family members and the cremation is expected to take place on Thursday in Bhiwani, Haryana.
TMC Leader Derek O’Brien has reached ex-serviceman Ram Kishan Garehwal’s residence in Bhiwani and Congresss Vice President Rahul Gandhi is also likely to attend the cremation.
On Wednesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, fellow minister Gopal Rai and Rahul Gandhi attempted to meet the family of the deceased but were not allowed, and Sisodia and Gandhi were detained by police. The detained politicians were released at midnight.
