Dayashankar's Wife Swati To Contest In Election Against Mayawati
Expelled Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Dayashankar Singh on Sunday announced that his wife Swati would contest in election against the Bhujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati.

Earlier today, Dayashankar was released from Mau district jail after getting bail the day before.

An FIR was lodged against Dayashankar on July 20 for abusive remarks against BSP supremo Mayawati under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. He was also expelled from the BJP the same day.

He was arrested on July 29 from Buxar in Bihar.
