Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday announced a compensation of Rs 3 lakh and a flat each to both the victims of the Bulandshahr gangrape case, in which a mother and a daughter had been brutally gang-raped by a group of men at Bulandshahr bypass on Delhi-Kanpur National Highway.
Earlier on Thursday, Yadav said that his government was ready for a CBI probe into the issue.
“This is very shameful incident, Govt gave strict orders in the,” the CM had said.
The shameful incident occurred on Friday night just at a distance of few kilometres from the Police Chowky at Bulandshahr bypass on Delhi-Kanpur National Highway.
A woman along with her minor daughter was brutally gangraped by more than a dozen dacoits.
Three people, who were arrested in connection with this case, have been sent to 14 days of judicial custody on August 1.
