Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha proceedings were washed out on Friday following uproar over AAP member Bhagwant Mann’s video of Parliament House by members, mostly from ruling BJP, with Speaker Sumitra Mahajan terming it a “serious issue” and assuring protesting members that some action would be taken.
However, the Aam Aadmi Party defended the lawmaker, saying he was only trying to “show” the procedure of asking questions which did not amount to security breach, MP Harinder Singh Khalsa accused him of coming drunk to the Lok Sabha.

Fatehgarh Sahib MP Khalsa requested Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to allow him to shift his seat because Mann comes drunk to the House.
According to ANI video Khalsa wrote to the Speaker, “I am a Sikh and it hurts my religious sentiments when Bhagwant Mann sits tipsy next to me. I request you to change my seat.”
