Assam Polls: PM Modi Reaches Kamakhya Temple, Observes Navratri Fast

With the beginning of Chaitra Navratri today, Prime Minister Narendera Modi is also observing strict religious fasts, he will abstain from having food and will only intake water. PM has already reached Kamakhya Temple, one of the oldest shakti peeths, to invoke Goddess Kamakhya’s blessings. Before leaving for Assam Modi tweeted: Kamakhya Temple is situated at the top of Ninanchal Hill in the Western part of Guwahati. Today Modi will be addressing rallies in Raha, Rangia, Sarbhog and Guwahati.
