AAP Volunteer Suicide Case: Accused Ramesh Bhardwaj Arrested
The Delhi Police on Wednesday arrested accused Ramesh Bhardwaj in connection with the suicide of a female Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteer Soni Mishra.

The Delhi Police on Wednesday arrested accused  Ramesh Bhardwaj in connection with the suicide of a female  Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) volunteer Soni Mishra.

Ramesh Bhardwaj has been arrested in abetment for suicide case after brief detention. Bhardwaj is accused of molesting Soni Mishra, who committed suicide after she was harassed by him.

On June 3 Bhardwaj was arrested by Delhi Police officials but was released on bail the very next day.

Soni, a 28-year-old woman, a mother of 14-year-old committed suicide on July 19, almost a month and a half after Bhardwaj was released on bail.

She had alleged that the accused was being protected by the local MLA.
