Singer Sonu Nigam does not like anything interrupting his sleep and as it happened he took to social media and gave a piece of his mind in that regard. The star singer turned to twitter to write how the morning ‘Azaan’ interrupts his sleep. He went on to write ‘I am not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning.’
But it did not go well with people and twitterati slammed him for his comment. Check out the Twitterati back lash on Sonu Nigam’s comment:
@sonunigam Am a Hindu but isn’t same “inconvinience” faced by Non Hindus too when we blare loudspeakers for Navratri n Ganesh processions?

@sonunigam I am a fan of urs but this was definitely a bullshit statement. U gotta respect other religions beliefs. It’s a democratic country.

@sonunigam India is a secular country, u cant say such things. So many Muslims out there… should they not be called to prayer, cuz you get disturbed?

I see symbols of Hindu faith everywhere in public spaces, isn’t that ‘forced religiousness’? @sonunigam

@sonunigam azaan ends in 3 minutes nd noise nd air pollution of vehicles disturb me throughout the day. So ban vehicles too
