Long believed to be missing, the main witness in the chinkara poaching cases, driver ‘Harish Dulani’ has now questioned the Salman Khan’s acquittal in the case by Rajasthan Court.

Dulani, who skipped hearings in the cases, said he was forced to stay away from the case.

While speaking with the media, Dulani said ” My father got threats, I got scared, so I left Jodhpur.”

He further added that he stuck to the statement he made before a magistrate in October 1998 – that Salman had killed the chinkaras – and added that, if summoned, he would repeat the same in court.

Harish Dulani is the sole witness in the poaching cases, on whose testimony alone the case was built.

He served as Salman’s driver during the alleged hunt in 1998.

Following the statement from driver, on Thursday ajendra Rathod,Rajasthan Law Minister said “will explore legal options in the case and approach SC as well.”
