Big BHours after Bollywood fraternity came out in support of “Udta Punjab” makers in their standoff with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), megastar Amitabh Bachchan has now joined the debate.

At a press conference for his forthcoming film “TE3N”, Amitabh said:“I am not aware of the issue, but would like to say that don’t try to kill creativity.”

The censor board is demanding the removal of “Punjab” from the title of the Abhishek Chaubey-directed movie along with 89 cuts.

Earlier in the day Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt and Zoya Akhtar apart from members of the “Udta Punjab” team — Kashyap, Ekta Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and director Abhishek Chaubey — addressed a conference in Mumbai to discuss the censor’s demand.
