Adding to the worries of Sallu Bhai in ‘raped woman’ remark case, a Haryana gangrape survivor has now served a Rs 10-crore damage notice on the actor while asking him to tender a public apology.
According to the reports, the notice has been sent to Salman’s West Mumbai’s Bandra address.
It says ” ”My client has felt and is passing through very troublesome period of psychological trauma by heart and mind by your statement of the rape victims-like feelings in the print media and social media. Your statement dated 21-06-2016 is solely responsible for her mental and psychological degradation and she is in touch with psychiatrist for counselling.” It further added, ”Your statement dated 21-06-2016 is wrong, illegal and against the spirit of Constitution of India and you are liable for every type of civil, criminal liabilities.”
The Dabangg Khan sparked the controversy last week, when compared himself to a ‘raped woman’ during his practice sessions for the film Sultan, where he plays a wrestler.
The remarks had gone viral on social media and since then the actor has been facing flak from women activists and media.
