Actor Turned author Twinkle Khanna is known for her witty and tweets full of sarcasm. She is highly opinionated about what goes around the world and sure has knack of writing about it in a way that it turns all heads in her direction!
Recently she took a dig at TVF’s CEO Arunabh Kumar and wrote about sexual harassment at workplace and what she wrote is going viral. In her column in the Times Of India- she writes, “A few days ago another big frog was added to the list and came in for some virtual dissestion- The Viral Fever CEO Arunabh Kumar who is now making people’s temperature rise in a way he probably never expected.”
Arunabh Kumar who is accused of sexually harassing a former employee, said that being a male is entitled to complement a woman and tell her she is sexy. On this the 42 year old Twinkle writes, “By Calling a woman ‘sexy’ in a working environment, you are undermining everything she has worked for, the stereotypes she has had to break, the pride she takes in her abilities, and the inevitable guilt that she feels about not being home with her children, just to be there in that office, trying to make her place in the world.”
This column of Twinkle Khanna is much appreciated on social media and why will it not- sexual harassment at workplace is a serious issue and this star has depicted a woman’s plight through her witty words. She writes about how these “Frogs” should make it clear in their minds that nothing gives them the right to stalk her, send her obscene messages and make comments about what she wears and how she looks.
Arunabh Kumar is the CEO of The Viral Fever who found himself in hot waters when a former employee, who has refused to reveal her identity, has accused him of sexual harassment during work, after this shocking revelation two more women came forward with similar accusations against Kumar!
