Aamir recently visited the worst-affected regions of the state and decided to adopt two villages that have been facing maximum damage – Tal and Koregaon. Aamir has extended aid to villages earlier as well. He adopted villages in Kutch, Gujarat, following the states worst-ever earthquake in 2001.
Akshay had earlier donated Rs 90 lakh to support the 180 families of farmers who had committed suicide.
