Aamir Khan recently took part in a Marathi talk show called ‘’Chala Hava Yeu Deya’’. He spoke about his favourite Marathi dishes and songs while he hummed the song ‘Apsara Ali’ from his favorite movie ’Natrang’.
DNA reported that the actor listed some of his favourite movies namely – Rajiv Jadhav’s 2010 film Natrang, Najraj Manjules 2013 film ‘Fandry’ and also the Romantic Blockbuster from last year ‘Sairat’. Then he goes on to announce that he is learning the language so that he can take up Marathi projects in future. (PHOTO)
Recently he made his wife Kiran Rao record a Marathi song for the second edition of Satyameva Jayate. News18 reported Rao saying, “I was made to sing the song on my husband’s diktat. I had fun working with Ajay and Atul and Nagraj. I was nervous in the studio but Ajay and Atul encouraged me to sing. It was my dream to work with Nagraj and all thanks to my husband.’’
But no doubt Aamir’s contribution to regional cinema will be just as good- if and when he decides to produce or act in one!
