Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday registers FIR against women separatist leader Asiya Andrabi for hoisting Pakistan National flag in Srinagar on its National Day.
According to the sources, the FIR was registered after BJP lodged strong protest with coalition partner PDP and directed the party leaders in valley to discuss issue with Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Asiya along with her dozens of supporters celebrated Pakistan Day in a function organised in Srinagar under the nose of Mufti Sayeed led PDP-BJP Government in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Besides hoisting the National Flag, we also sung Pakistan Anthem” Aisya was reported to have said by section of media in New Delhi.
Asiya Andrabi, Dukhtaran-e-Millat, a constituent party of Hurriyat Conference (Geelani) faction, is a pro-Pakistan separatist leader who want Kashmir to be separated from India and merge with Pakistan.
She is also the wife of senior Separatist leader Dr Qasim Faktoo, who is incarnated in Srinagar’s central jail from past 22 years on the charges of killing Kashmiri Pandit H N Wanchoo and conspiring against state.
