In a show of pure courage and determination, 30-year-old Parvati Mehetre caught hold of 40-year-old Narasimha Talari when he set her on fire after an alleged dispute. While Mehetre did not survive, Talari suffered from 80% burn injuries and was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
Both worked together in an Ulhasnagar garment store in Thane district of Maharashtra. On Tuesday afternoon, the couple were alone in the shop, when allegedly they had an arguement.

"The man said that they got into an argument but we do not know the details yet," said a police officer said to Times of India.
"Talari says he set her on fire. Mehetre then caught hold of Talari, causing him to suffer burn injuries," added the officer.

When smoke billowed from the building, people outside called the fire brigade who discovered Mehetre's dead body and Talari lying injured.
According to sources, Talari had likely planned the death of Mehetre as he had smuggled petrol into the shop where they both worked. However, an accidental death report has been filed as of now.
