Twitter faces its latest loss after the resignation of Twitter India head Rishi Jaitley as its Managing Director for India, Southeast Asia, Middle East and North Africa Parminder Singh resigns after a 3 year stint with the company.
Singh announced his decision in a series of tweets on Thursday. According to reports Parry (Parminder) left the company to “pursue other passions and work on his next adventure to help a content-based startup in Singapore and India.”
Maya Hari, who previously managed Twitter’s Ads Product Strategy & Adoption for Asia Pacific, MENA and Latin America has been appointed as new Managing Director of India and Southeast Asia.
Twitter has been facing problems with a stagnant user base and slowing revenue growth and recently also announced a hefty 9% cut of its global workforce.
