Tata Motors on Thursday announced that their Kite 5 concept will be named as Tata Tigor. In Auto Expro 2016, Tata’s Kite 5 concept was showcased and it had also received overwhelming response for its unique design and proposition.

The break-free design dynamics of Tata Tigor makes it India’s 1st ‘Styleback’. We will announce its commercial launch soon and are excited to see the IMPACT of the ‘Styleback’ on our customers.
The Tata Tigor Styleback is expected to be the unbeatable combination of style and substance. The Tigor will be a game changer in the segement as it introduces a radical new silhouette to the segment.

Tata motor’s upcoming sedan will be based on the Tata Tiago and will come with two engine variants with- 1.2 litre Revotron petrol engine and a 1.05 Litre Revotron diesel engine.
The petrol variant is capable to produce power output at 83bhp and peak torque at 114Nm, while the diesel engine will give maximum power of 69bhp and maximum torque of 140Nm. Both the variants will come with a five-speed manual transmission. The upcoming Tigor might also come with an AMT version later.
The all new Tata Tigor will come with a wheelbase of 2450 mm and is 3995 mm in length, 1647 mm in width and 1535 mm in height.
Tata Tigor is expected to be priced at Rs 4 lakh (ex showroom, New Delhi) to Rs 8 lakh (ex showroom, New Delhi).
