Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company, Tata Motors on Tuesday moved the National Green Tribunal (NGT) against a Delhi government notification banning registration of all diesel vehicles, including commercial and private, above 2000cc in the National Capital Territory.

According to Live Mint, Tata Motors told the green court that while the apex court’s orders pertained to private luxury vehicles, the Delhi government has banned registration of commercial diesel vehicles as well. The automaker told that court that it fears loss in revenue if the ban continues.

The case will be heard next on 24 August.
