World’s largest pizza chain Pizza Hut has now earned a Guinness World Records with the Highest altitude pizza delivery in history.
According to reports, on May 9 the chain delivered Pizzas to Africa’s tallest mountain Kilimanjaro, located at the height of 19,341 feet.
The team which delivered Pizzas includes General Manager of Pizza Hut Africa, Randall Blackford and several professional guides who hiked for six days to reach the peak of one of the world’s tallest mountains.
The chain earlier set the record as the first company to deliver pizza in outer space when it sent a personal pan-sized pie to the International Space Station in 2001.
With 16,000 restaurants in 100 countries, it enjoys the status of world’s largest Pizza chain.
