Luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz launched the S400, a new variant of its flagship luxury model the S-Class. The S400 is priced at Rs. 1.31 crores (ex-showroom Hyderabad).
The all new S-Class was launched by Roland Folger, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and Yashwant Jhabakh, Group Chairman, Mahavir Motors.
“Mercedes-Benz believes in introducing the latest products and variants in the market at regular intervals, to keep customer interest and curiosity intact in the brand. This strategy we firmly believe has contributed to our unmatched success in India. With the launch of the S400, we further extend the S-Class model range and also bolster our strong presence in the prestigious S-Class segment,” Roland Folger, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said.
The stunning exterior of the S-class is highlighted with its arched roofline with flowing contours. This is further accentuated with the dropping lines descending elegantly from the front to the rear of the car. The large grille with four louvers clubbed with the three-dimensional design of the chrome trim and grille interior adds substantially to the elegant look of the sedan. The attractive design of the S-Class is further enhanced by the all LED high performance sharply contoured headlamps and the beautiful panoramic sunroof. The S-Class has a drag co-efficient of 0.24, one of the lowest for a luxury car of this caliber.
With its clear architecture, the interior design of the S 400 embodies a classic, superior, cutting-edge saloon. The interior’s expressive character is derived from a uniquely fluid and sensuously elegant style. The S 400 interiors feature plush leather upholstery, with the centre console, seats and door panels in leather. The dashboard is a combination of contemporary design featuring sleek horizontal lines, which along with the wood trim imparts the touch of luxury.
