The Triumph Motorcycles has launched its much awaited Bonneville T100 classic motorcycle in India starting at Rs 7.78 lakh.
The all new T100 have features including ABS, traction control, electronic ride-by-wire, access to the digital system with the help of a mounted scroll button and trip computer.
Design of new Triumph Bonneville is inspired by the Triumph Thruxton R and the original 1950s Bonneville.
The motorcycle is also equipped with twin-pod with 3D dials. The twin-pod instrument cluster features analogue speedometer, analogue tachometer, odometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, range to empty indication, service indicator, clock, 2 trip meters, average and current fuel consumption display, etc.
Daytime running lamps, LED tail lamp and an under seat charging socket, is also available in the new Triumph.
New Triumph consist of a 900cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine. The engine produces a maximum power of 53 hp at 5,900 rpm and a peak torque of 80 Nm at just 3,230 rpm.
The engine delivers a fuel economy of 26.2 Km/l as per European cycle, which is 29% more fuel efficient that the previous model.
The T100 is equipped with a lightweight chassis set-up (lighter than the Bonneville T120), which offers a comfortable riding posture, shorter wheelbase and has a low seat height of 790mm.
The suspension duties are performed by KYB 41 mm forks with 120 mm travel at the front and KYB twin shocks with adjustable preload and 120 mm of rear wheel travel.
On the braking front, Triumph has equipped the motorcycle with disc brakes at both the ends with ABS.
The Triumph Bonneville T100 is available with a choice of one single and two dual-tone colour combinations – Fusion White/Aegean Blue, New England White/Intense Orange and Jet Black.
