Ahead of its festive season launch, the much awaited Maruti Suzuki Ignis was caught testing on Delhi roads.
Maruti Suzuki has already showcased the concept form of the Ignis at Auto Expo 2016. The Ignis falls in the micro-SUV segment, in which its notable rival is the Mahindra KUV100. The Ignis will feature raised ground clearance and 4×4 is expected in India-spec version.

According to the reports, the crossover is expected to come with a 1.2-litre VTVT petrol engine and a 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel unit. The diesel mill is expected to be coupled with an automated manual transmission (AMT).
Maruti Suzuki is also expected to employ the 1.0 BoosterJet turbo-petrol engine in Ignis.
